RIDE INSPIRED

I'm Jules, the owner of Pedal Strokes Design which I started up in 2022, with some help from my husband, Jez. We are both enthusiastic cyclists. All my artwork is designed using Adobe Illustrator and is inspired by the various riding that we have undertaken.

Being based in Oxfordshire in the UK, the cycling is fairly flat until you get out to the beautiful rolling Cotswolds. We get our climbing fix by spending time cycling in the Alps and have completed many of the climbs featured.

There are always stories to tell after each ride and experiences to be recounted. Joux Plane was our first ever alpine climb and I won’t forget my first mountain descent, I’d never done anything like it before! And Jez will never live down the time he tried to cycle up the Col du Tourmalet, fuelled only by Coke Zero (it wasn't pretty!)

As well as getting out on the bikes, we also love cheering on the Pro riders from the sofa and their achievements are starting to find their way onto our prints too. Pogaçar is incredible, but Wout Van Aert has stolen my heart!
